In November, 2009 the Town of Gananoque requested proposals studying the extension of Herbert Street North. The study explores the feasibility of extending Herbert Street (currently a dead-end street), thereby enhancing access to Hwy 401 and potentially opening up land-locked private and municipally owned property for commercial development.
