Charleston Lake Provincial Park
The Frontenac Arch Biosphere Network is organizing a Trails Festival to encourage and inspire community residents and visitors to appreciate the wealth of biodiversity as experienced through the trails of this area and to increase awareness of this region’s UNESCO designation. The Trails Festival is a fundraising event for the Frontenac Arch Biosphere Network, a not-for-profit organization. Opening ceremonies will be held at Charleston Lake Provincial Park on September 28, 2019 from 1-4 pm to capture the beauty of the biosphere in the Fall. This will be followed by two weeks of self-directed hiking, paddling, or cycling pre-selected trails in the biosphere, for those who register ($10 Individual | $25 Family). All funds raised through registration will go to supporting the Frontenac Arch Biosphere Network. Closing ceremonies and prize awards will take place at Landon Bay, Thousand Islands National Park on October 12, 2019 starting at 1 pm. Come out and have a FAB experience!
