Angie Parkins has been designing and making cards since time began, and it is her passion! She was a freelance papercraft designer for several British papercrafting magazines before emigrating to Canada in 2006, since then she has been holding monthly cardmaking workshops in and around the Leeds and Thousand Islands area.

Makers‘ Studio is a new initiative at the Thousand Islands Playhouse that offers socially-distanced arts and crafts workshops led by local artists. Running on Monday nights in November and December in the creative space of our Firehall Theatre, Makers’ Studio offers a maximum of 12 participants the chance to roll up their sleeves and make something special they can take home at the end of the night. Every week will offer a different workshop while celebrating learning, creativity, and community.
