Fall Brush and Clean Lumber Pickup – October 24th – October 28th
Lumber must be no longer than six feet in length, be unpainted/unstained, non-treated (ie; pressure treated), and free of any metal (ie; nails, screws, brackets). Brush must be less than six feet in length and less than 4 inches in diameter. Brush and Lumber must be placed at the edge of roadway NO LATER THAN 7:00 A.M. on the DATES indicated above.
Fall Leaves and Yard Waste Pickup
West Ward (all west of King Street Bridge) – October 31st to November 4th
South Ward (all south of King Street and east of the King Street Bridge) – November 7th to 11th
North Ward (all north of King Street and east of the King Street Bridge) – November 14th to 18th
For the Town of Gananoque to provide a cost effective and efficient service to all Town Residents, you must place leaves and yard waste at the edge of roadway NO LATER THAN 7:00 A.M. on the DATE ABOVE for each ward. ALL LEAVES MUST BE IN BIODEGRADABLE BAGS – NO LOOSE LEAVES WILL BE PICKED UP
In order to maintain the efficiency of the above schedule, each street and alley will be picked up ONLY ONCE during the above mentioned schedule(s).
ANY BRUSH, LUMBER OR LEAVES PLACED AT THE ROADWAY BEFORE OR AFTER THIS TIME WILL BE SUBJECT TO BYLAW ENFORCEMENT
The Public Works yard (665 Charles Street North, Gananoque) will continue to remain open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8-noon until November 30th.
