The Island Harbour Club development will be preparing and pouring curbs around their property starting today. There will be intermittent disruption to vehicular traffic movement along Water Street between Market Street and Kate Street, Kate Street between Water Street and St. Lawrence Street, and St.
The Public Works Department would like to advise that a portion the driveway at Town Hall, on the west side which leads to the exit/entrance of King Street will be closed for the next two weeks to perform repairs to the front stairs of Town Hall, as well as install stairs to the westerly entrance of Town Hall.
The Town of Gananoque will be completing the water meter replacement program at the end of July. This is a government funded program and all meters must be replaced. If your meter has not been replaced, please call 1-800-667-4387 to schedule your appointment to reduce future costs.

In 2015, the Town developed its first Strategic Plan that would shape the future direction of Gananoque over a five year period. Since that time, many of the Strategic Plan Action Items have been implemented. In 2020, Council is working to update the next Strategic Plan to take us to 2025.

The Water Street Swing Bridge will be closed indefinitely starting July 8th, 2020 for maintenance work at the bridge. The bridge will be closed to both vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
