Following a Notice of Motion initially passed by Council in 2019 to establish development fees, Watson & Associates Ltd., have presented the Town with a Development Charges Background Study. Development Charges address growth related costs.

The Overnight Parking Restriction (By-Law 2015-070) is now in effect as of November 15, 2020 and will end on April 1, 2021. No vehicles are to be parked on Town streets or Municipal Parking Lots between 1:00 am and 7:00 am to allow for Public Works staff to clear accumulated ice/snow.
Council will consider all 2021 Council Grant requests during budget deliberations which are scheduled in early December 2020. As such applications are currently being accepted. The deadline for submission is November 20, 2020 at 4:30pm. Please note that the Council Grant program is a competitive process. .
Please be advised that the Council of the Town of Gananoque passed By-law No. 2020-115, attached below, being a By-law to adopt the 2021 Water and Wastewater Rates, Operating and Capital Budgets. This By-law will take effect on January 1, 2021.
