The un-planned service disruption of the Lou Jeffries Recreation Center upper floor universal washroom is no longer in place. The toilet flushing unit has been repaired and is no longer out of service.

Arthur Street, from Stone Street to Charles Street, is tentatively scheduled for rehabilitation in 2023. The services of engineering firm Morrison Hershfield Limited have been contracted to develop a detailed engineered design in 2022 and the works are to be completed in 2023, pending Council approval.
Hot weather is expected tomorrow and Wednesday this week and the Health Unit would like to remind everyone to take care during times of high temperatures and high humidity.
There is currently an un-planned service disruption. We apologize for any inconvenience however the Lou Jeffries Recreation Center upper floor universal washroom is out of service due to the toilet flushing unit being broken. Staff are waiting on a replacement part to fix the toilet.
On Saturday, July 16th, there will be a Pride Parade beginning on Williams St (GSS) and travelling to Town Park. The parade is set to begin at 11:00am. Please also note, King Street East will be closed to vehicular traffic from William Street to Park Street from 10:55am to approximately 12 noon.
