The Town of Gananoque hosted a Public Information Center

Public Notices

(PIC) on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Public Library. The PIC was with respect to undertaking a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment for the construction of a boat launch at the Gananoque Municipal Marina on Bay Road. The need for construction is driven by the desire for an additional boat launch. Town Public Works staff as well as representatives from G.D. Jewel Engineering Inc. were there to answer questions from the public during the “drop in” style event. There were four (4) conceptual options presented in hard copy format and displayed for viewing. The same four (4) conceptual options in hard copy format are at Town Hall (in the first floor board room) if anyone missed the PIC event on Wednesday evening and wishes to see them. There are also comment sheets available at the front desk at Town Hall if anyone still wishes to provide comment. We will continue to receive comments up until noon on Thursday, February 1, 2018, either by hard copy delivered to the front desk at Town Hall or the Public Works office located at 665 Charles Street North (both during regular business hours) or by email addressed to pwmanager@gananoque.ca

The four (4) conceptual options are attached below in digital format (PDF) as well to be reviewed on your device or computer.

Once feedback from the PIC if reviewed and summarized, Town Council will be updated via a staff report at a future Committee of the Whole meeting. Check the Town website regularly under Town Hall – Town Council – Council Meetings for posted agendas. If anyone has any questions regarding this notice please contact Paul McMunn – Manager of Public Works at 613-382-2149 ext. 1615 or by email at pwmanager@gananoque.ca
