The first Community Discovery Passport launched on May 27th, 2017 at the Community Discovery Day held in Town Park in partnership with Chalk the Walk. The Passports are being mailed to homes in the Town of Gananoque and The Township of Leeds and Thousand Islands encouraging residents to get out and rediscover the attractions in the community. Passports will also be available at the Visitor Centre.
Those participating can submit their passport to the Visitor Centre (10 King Street, East) by September 15th, 2017 with the boxes of the attractions visited stamped or signed. Submitted passports will be entered to win an exciting prize package. Please note you do not have to visit every attraction to win this draw, the minimum requirement is one attractions.
The Town and Township hope that this is a successful program, on which they can expand in the future and collaborate with other local business organizations to include other sectors.
Special thanks to our Attractions & Sponsors for helping to turn this idea into a reality.
For more information, please contact Jennifer at the Gananoque & Thousand Islands Visitor Centre. Open 7 days a week.
