Military Personnel Training in Greater Kingston Area

Approximately 40 national and international officers and instructors from the Peace Support Training Centre in Kingston, Ontario will be conducting a two-day exercise from April 12 to 14, 2016 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. The training in the conduct of Civil-Military Cooperation will take place in the following locations:  the Townships of Greater Napanee, Gananoque, Central Frontenac and Perth. Students will be conducting area assessments of local communities and will go out into the area, take pictures, talk to the local residents, and try to understand the dynamics of the Township. Military participants will be dressed in military uniforms. They will travel in civilian vehicles with either DND or Province of Ontario plates and will not trespass on private property. This training will have minimal impact on the community.
