Town Crier to make a proclamation for the Queen’s Jubilee.

On Thursday, June 2nd at 2:00pm, Brian Mabee, the Town Crier will be on the front steps of Town Hall to make a proclamation for the Queen’s Jubilee.

Queen Elizabeth's coronation took place at Westminster Abbey on June 2, 1953. The 96-year-old will soon become the first British monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, marking her 70 years on the throne.

The proclamation will be broadcast to CBC. The public are invited to come and watch from the sidewalk/park on the outside of the yellow fence as the front of Town Hall is a construction zone.
