Arena Ice & Floor-Dry (Summer) Surface Rentals

Season Ice Rental Fees (Contributing and Non-Contributing Fees):
The new rate fee entitled “Non-Contributing” was initiated in order to charge a higher ice rental fee to any user group that is not based out of the municipalities that contribute to the yearly operating and capital costs required to maintain the TLTI/Gananoque Lou Jefferies Arena. The new rate fee will apply to any user group(s) that are outside of the Town of Gananoque and Township of Leeds and Thousand Islands (TLTI).
Floor-Dry (Summer) Rentals:
Commercial is defined as engaging in commerce, trade, business, private enterprise, sales, etc. Examples: Trade Shows, Home Shows, etc.
*Insurance coverage is mandatory*
In general our prime time ice is booked throughout the season. However we do have some opportunities for non-prime time and possible prime time cancellations for private rentals that present themselves throughout the season. Payment for private ice rental is expected prior to your rental period. Copies of our cancellation policy are available at the Arena office.
- All rentals on Town of Gananoque property require insurance. We cannot process, confirm, or reserve your booking until we receive your insurance certificate.
- You must submit a valid certificate of insurance at the time of your booking request, or within five (5) days of submitting it.
- Failing to provide the certificate on time will result in your request being automatically declined or delayed, and your preferred date may no longer be available.
- It is your responsibility to ensure this requirement is met on time. We do not follow up on missing certificates.
- The insurance certificate must include the following information:
- Minimum of $5 million in third-party liability coverage.
- List "The Corporation of the Town of Gananoque" as 'Additionally Insured.'
- A description of your event/use of space, including event date(s).
Banquet Facilities
Located at 600 King St. E. in Gananoque. The hall approximately 40' x 60' and seats 185. The Hall is wheel chair accessible with the use of a key lift from lobby to hall. Un-stocked kitchen and bar areas are open for use. Users must obtain their own liquor license and event insurance. HST will apply to all rental fees.
