The Town of Gananoque will be undertaking a scheduled shut down of the James W. King Water Treatment Plant, 110 King Street on Wednesday, March 20th, 2024 from 9:00pm to 5:00am. The shut down is required to complete the electrical upgrades at the water treatment plant.
In advance of the shutdown, the water tower will be filled to provide residents with an emergency water supply. Emergency services and all other required agencies are aware of the scheduled shut down.
Gananoque residents are additionally being asked to restrict their water usage during this same time on March 20th from 9:00pm to 5:00am.
