Household Hazardous Waste material such as oil, gas, paint, cleaners, pesticides, herbicides, fluorescent light bulbs, etc is not accepted in regular waste disposal. Hazardous Waste must be disposed of properly at special events throughout the summer. The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville holds hazardous waste disposal events in July, August and September.
Town of Gananoque Residents can dispose of their hazardous waste free of charge.
