Notice of Temporary Disruption of Service

There is currently a planned service disruption. We apologize for any inconvenience; however, the Splash Pad at Joel Stone Park will be Closed for the Season.

From: September 29, 2025 
To: May 2026

The disruption includes: the Splash Pad located at 135 Water Street; The Splash Pad will be closed for the season. Splash Pad will reopen in spring of 2026. The washrooms remain open with limited hours 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. until Thanksgiving weekend October 13th, 2025.

The following alternative services are available:
Washrooms located at town hall 30 King St E and Visitors center 10 King St E. 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

The King Street East - eastbound driving lane, between 555 and 595 King Street East will be temporarily shifted to the center lane to accommodate tie-in work for the project at 575 King Street East. Please follow the detour signage in place.
