In the month of June, you’ll be amazed by the outsize presence of peonies in the Gananoque Horticultural Society Park at 21 Main Street.
From a tree peony, with large, extravagantly frilled pale pink blooms, and an Itoh peony, with dark pink, single flowers to the perennial favourite, double pink ‘Sarah Bernhardt, you’ll discover more than 20 varieties of peonies in the Park, all commanding a second look.
