Beginning Monday, July 13, the Town of Gananoque will be testing new Town Hall hours as part of a pilot program running until October 2, 2026.
During the trial, Town Hall will be open Monday to Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and closed on Fridays.
The goal of this trial is to explore whether adjusted hours can improve customer service, increase staff productivity, and support a better work-life balance for employees while continuing to provide the high level of service residents expect.
Throughout the trial, the Town will monitor customer visits, staff productivity, and customer feedback to help determine whether this approach should continue in the future.
Please note that not all municipal services will follow this schedule. Some departments will continue to operate their regular hours to ensure essential services and community needs continue to be met.
