The Gananoque Farmers’ Market aims to serve the community of Gananoque and the Leeds and the Thousand Islands. We are a community-focused market that provides access to locally produced and grown products while supporting local growers and producers in ways that encourage ecological and community sustainability.

By filling out this application, you are agreeing to the guidelines of the Gananoque Farmer’s Market. Please note that filling out this application does not mean you are registered for the market

Insurance

Insurance is required for attending the Gananoque Farmers’ Market. You must provide a copy of your Certificate of Insurance listing the Town of Gananoque as additional insured. Applicants must obtain a certificate of Commercial General Liability Insurance of no less than $2,000,000, and $5,000,000 is required if you are serving alcohol.

Any amendments to items or produce must be brought to the attention of the Town of Gananoque and reflected on the application.

Please review the following terms and conditions for Market applicants.

  1. Having read the Farmers’ Market Vendor Application Guide, I hereby agree to comply fully with these and all other Federal, Provincial and Municipal regulations that apply. I understand that I may forfeit my right to sell at the Farmers’ Market if I am found to be in non-compliance with said rules ands regulations. Further, I understand that the acceptance of the appropriate fee does not constitute execution of this application. Upon review for compliance applicants will be notified as to the result of their application.
  2. I hereby agree to indemnify and save harmless to the Town of Gananoque from and against any and all claims, demands, causes of action, loss, costs or damages that the Town of Gananoque may suffer, incur or be liable for, resulting from the performance or non-performance of the Vendor of their obligations under the license whether with or without negligence on the part of the Vendor, the Vendor’s employees, directors, contractors and agents.
  3. I understand that vendors at the Gananoque Farmers’ Market are required to hold Vendor Insurance and that all vendors must submit a valid copy of their Insurance Certificate to the Organizer prior to attending their first Market.
  4. I understand that I will have to pay in full before attending my first market.
  5. I acknowledge and agree to abide with the following documents:
