The OHS has recently launched its updated Awards Program for 2026. We want your help honouring people who have contributed to the preservation and promotion of Ontario’s history.
Over the past two years, the OHS Awards Committee has been evaluating the impact and focus of our awards program. The Committee has consulted with OHS members, educators, previous award recipients, heritage professionals, and other award programs in the sector to develop a list of categories that better align with our core mandates and objectives. One of the core objectives for this program is to recognize and reward the important local history programming and publishing being done at the grassroots level.
