With the arrival of Spring, Pitch-In Canada Week is just around the corner.
Major Lojko has proclaimed April 17th to 23rd PITCH-IN WEEK in the Town of Gananoque. Join us for Pitch-In Week April 17th to 23rd.
It’s that time of year when thousands of volunteers across Canada ‘pitch-in’ by getting out there and staying active by participating in pitch-in efforts to clean up streets, sidewalks, pathways, parks, trails and waterways from litter.
Staff at the Town of Gananoque have scheduled Thursday April 21st, 2022 at 9:00 a.m., commencing at Town Hall, for staff and residents to participate in a community-wide PITCH-IN event throughout areas of Town to clean up debris.
You are invited to join us at Town Hall at 9am for a photo before we head out to “pitch-in”. Garbage bags will be available.
If this event doesn’t work with your schedule, you are more than welcome to choose another date that works for you. If you’d like to register your pitch-in event, email pwinfo@gananoque.ca with the location of your pitch-in, name and contact information.
Free “pitch-in” bags will be provided to volunteers. Free curbside collection of ‘yellow pitch-in’ bags will be provided.
