The Town of Gananoque will be providing an offsite parking shuttle service for the 2015 summer season. The intent of the shuttle is to alleviate parking congestion at the waterfront due to redevelopment of the Lowertown.
The shuttle will be operating June 19th – 21st and June 26th - September 7th. The hours of operation are Monday – Thursday 8:30 – 4:30 and Friday – Sunday 8:00 – 8:00. The offsite parking lots are the same as 2014. There is trailer parking available at 900 Queen St, beside Gan 401 Storage and vehicle parking at 760 Stone St North, across from Eastern Marine Service.
The route for 2015 has been adjusted based on the 2014 data to accommodate a quick turnaround time between the offsite parking lots and the waterfront area. The express route is a total of 15 minutes for the round trip. Additionally an extended route is being offered three times per day which is providing service to some of our local attractions. The extended route is a total of 30 minutes for the round trip.
