Oak Street will be temporarily closed from First Street to Second Street for a watermain leak repair. Repair will be taking place between 105 Oak Street and 220 First Street. Oak Street will be open to local traffic only.
UPDATE: Please be advised that because of the watermain break; the West side entrance of Shoppers Drug Mart and the Elmwood walking trail will remain closed until tomorrow June 11 at 3:30pm. Please refrain from using the walking trail until it is re-opened.
In the event of a power outage; if traffic lights fail, due to the outage, treat the intersection as a four-way stop. Each driver must come to a complete stop and proceed when it is safe and their turn.

There is a planned a power outage on Sunday, June 9, 2024, from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, the main electrical feed to Gananoque will be affected.

Please be advised that Council passed an exemption to the Procedural By-law to begin the regular scheduled Council meetings of June 4, 18, July 16, and, August 6, 2024, to commence at 5:00PM.

The Town will be completing the spring fire hydrant flushing program until June 7th. You may experience water discolouration when hydrants are being flushed near your home.
If discolouration occurs, please run the cold water tap until the discolouration has disappeared.
