- A Public Meeting for Proposed Official Plan Amendment (OPA8-25) and Class III Development Permit (DP2025-13) – 145 River Street (Mathews), was Postponed due to Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) recommendation and applicant request for Deferral.
- Council received the Public Meeting Requirements under the Planning Act Report for information.
- The Strategic Plan 2026 to 2030 Project update was received for information.
- A Report outlining 2021 to 2025 Legal Costs by Category was received. Council directed Staff to report back on Legal Costs on a recurring, semi-annual basis.
- Council received the 2025 Quarter Three (Q3) Budget Variance and Forecast for information.
- Council appointed Community Safety Officer Dillon Champagne, under the “Municipal Law Enforcement Officers for the Corporation of the Town of Gananoque” By-law.
- Council postponed approving the 2026 Council Schedule.
- Mayor Beddows advised that he has been in contact with the Office of the Deputy Inspector General/Inspectorate of Policing seeking clarification on their letter, regarding the question of his membership on the Gananoque Police Services Board.
- Mayor Beddows provided a Notice of Motion (Council Direction to Staff) for the next Regular Council meeting on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, for a report on the development of a strategy to dis-incentivize deliberate vacancy of residential properties as well as deliberate vacancy of commercial and industrial properties.
