- John Morrison, Treasurer, presented a PowerPoint presentation entitled, “2025 Asset Management Plan (AMP) Update”.
- Mayor Beddows proclaimed September 19th to October 12th, 2025, be recognized as “Culture Days in Gananoque”.
- Council passed a By-law to adopt the 2025 Asset Management Plan for Proposed Level of Service.
- Council referred the Urban Tree By-law Request for Consultation to the 2026 Budget Deliberations.
- A By-law was passed to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to sign a Construction Cost Sharing Agreement with EO Generation Limited Partnership for a construction project at the location of the Susan Push Train Umbrella (5 King Street East).
- Council received the 2025 Second (2nd) Quarter Budget Variance and Forecast.
- The Community Grants Program report was received for information.
- A Casino Funding Status report was received for information.
- Council adopted the 2025 Strategic Asset Management Policy Update.
- The 2025 Second (2nd) Quarter Water & Wastewater report was received for information.
- Council received the Updated Significant Drinking Water Threat Assessment report for information.
- Council approved a Motion requesting Mayor Beddows present to Council on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, information regarding Mayoral Directive #2015-002 (being a directive to the Treasurer and CAO on the preparation of the 2026 and 2027 Operating and Capital Budgets), and to allow Council to comment and vote on each of the 27 items listed on the Directive.
- A Motion was passed to send a letter of support and endorsement to the Township of Rideau Lakes in reply to Resolution No. 189-2025 – V.O.I.C.E. Coalition (Vocal Ontario Integrity Coalition for Electeds), in opposition to Strong Mayor Powers.
- Council pre-approved in the 2026 Roads Division and Utilities Division Operational Budgets, to fund an extension of two (2) temporary staff to cover medical leave of absences.
