The 2022 Municipal Election is approaching, and eligible electors will be casting their votes for the offices of Mayor, Councillor, and School Board Trustee in October 2022. 


Vote at your convenience 24/7, anywhere in North America, by Internet or Telephone from Monday, October 17th, 2022 starting at 10:00 AM up to and including Monday, October 24th, 2022 ending at 8:00 PM.

Voter Information Letters will start being delivered the week of October 3rd by Canada Post. This letter will provide your options for voting via the Internet or Telephone and contains a Personal Identification Number (PIN) which will grant you access to the voting system.  This voting system will allow electors to vote any time, anywhere during the voting period of October 17th to October 24th. Any touch-tone telephone or device with access to the internet will be able to access the system. 

If you do not receive a Voter Information Letter by Monday, October 17th, please contact Election Staff at 613-382-2149 ext. 1120 or ext. 1116, or via email at elections@gananoque.ca or, attend the Voter Help Centre, located at the Town Hall, 30 King Street East, 2nd Floor. 

If you do not have access to a device during the voting period or if you need help casting your ballot, you can vote in-person at the Gananoque Town Hall during the posted times on the Voter Information Letter.  Election Officials will be available to assist during these times.
