Seniors Wellness Programs

Seniors Fitness Class is Mondays and Thursdays from 5:00 to 6:00 pm at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church Hall.  
It is a mix of chair and low impact movements, strengthening and balance.

Seniors Pole Walking is Saturday mornings at 10:00 am at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church Hall.  B.Y.O.P. Bring you own poles. If you don't have them yet come and walk anyway.  Learn the techniques and get advice on how to purchase your own poles.

Meditation Plus for Seniors

Find your inner "Zen" and happiness through meditation plus more.  In this class we will practice meditation plus breath work and other techniques that promote relaxation, calmness, stress relief, better sleep, balance, a general sense of well-being and more.  
Bring water, wear comfy clothes and come experience it for yourself!

4 Week Session on Friday mornings starting March 10th from 9:30 - 10:10am with Certified Instructor Kim Cross RRPr.

Conversational French With Nicole Tyo

Conversational French course will be offered by a retired qualified French language teacher who has several years of experience teaching all ages from junior kindergarten to post-secondary students. Come learn some commonly used words and sentences to better communicate in French through activities, role playing and of course, lots of laughs.

Art Forward

Geared towards seniors, the Art Forward program is a series of creative adventures
provided by the Gananoque Arts Network in collaboration with the Town of Gananoque.

  • There are two series from which participants may choose: “Learning to Draw,” and “Creativity Buffet.”
  • Each series will run for six weeks from February 21/22 to March 28/29, 2023.
  • Registration is limited to 12 individuals per series. The “Learning to Draw” class builds on each lesson so the class members will be established at the onset.

For the “Creativity Buffet” you can sign up for as many as you like, as space allows.

  • Instruction and supplies are provided free of charge.
  • Workshop topics are subject to change based on instructors’ availability.
