Event Description
The 4th Annual First Peoples' Performing Arts Festival of the 1000 Islands includes both virtual and live streamed events. Friday evening will feature live-streamed events: Alpha (vocal duo) and Kevin John Saylor, telling Mohawk Legends. Saturday afternoon features an NFB Indigenous Film Festival and Juno Award winning group. At 7:30, Juno Award winning Twin Flames will stream videos of their latest CD. Sunday, join us for a lived-streamed Water Walk from the Gananoque Town Park at 2 pm walking to the St. Lawrence River, led by Elder Lisa Cadue and accompanied by Two Feather Drum Group (masks and social distancing protocols in place)
