- Ribfest requested additional funding support in the amount of $11,600 for higher than expected electrical costs for a transformer installation at the Lou Jeffries Arena. Council had previously provided a $15,000 grant for this item.
Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies - Naming of Town Park Bandshell and Town Park Revitalization Project completion
The Town of Gananoque is pleased to announce the official naming of the historic Bandshell in Town Park. This ceremony will take place on Thursday, August 25th, 2022 at 4:00 pm on the front steps of Town Hall and everyone is welcome to attend.

Council Meeting Highlights – August 9, 2022
- A Closed session meeting was held regarding an Integrity Commissioner complaint against Councillor Mike Kench. Reporting out of Closed Session, Council voted to make the report public by attaching it to the Council minutes.
The Town of Gananoque & Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands Launch the 1000 Islands Wanderer Project
The Town of Gananoque received funding through the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Rural Economic Development (RED) program, in collaboration with the Township of Leeds and Thousand Islands. Together they have launched the “1000 Islands Wanderer Project”.
