The Town will be completing an emergency water main repair in the area of James and Pine Street East.
Severe winds are forecasted today across parts of central and eastern Ontario and along the shorelines of Lake Superior (northwestern and northeastern) and are expected to continue late into the evening.
Due to a watermain break from the weekend, there is water in the area of Churchill Drive, James Street and Pine Street East. Please avoid the area. Public Works staff are monitoring the area and are anticipating having the leak/break repaired as soon as possible.

Garbage cans are located in parks and along sidewalks for the disposal of waste to help protect the environment and are monitored weekly and emptied as needed by Town staff. Please use these receptacles as intended - for single waste items.
Please be advised that the Town Hall Monaris software issue has been resolved at Town Hall and we are now accepting debit payments again.
Our staff have worked hard to facilitate the opening of the Gord Brown Memorial Outdoor Rink (GBM) with the challenging weather conditions the past several weeks.
